Archery Equipment Arrows Recurve Compund Bows Finger Release
Bows and arrows are NOT toys. Please be responsible and sensible. For maximum safety and enjoyment always exercise caution, common sense and safety rules when shooting
Always use an appropriate backstop for maximum safety. An appropriate backstop must be constructed of a durable material and must extend beyond the perimeter of the target. Recommended backstop size is determined by the accuracy and ability of the shooter, i.e., the lower the level of accuracy, the larger perimeter required.
NEVER aim or draw the bow in the direction of a person. Aim and draw ONLY in the direction of an appropriate target.
ALWAYS have a full view of the path to the target and beyond when shooting. NOTE: Lead-off shots should be taken at closer ranges until the shooter is more accurate and comfortable at longer distances.
ALWAYS inspects arrow prior to shooting for imperfections such as cracks, splits or splinters. Damaged arrows must not be used and should be destroyed.
NEVER dry-fire (shoot without an arrow) any bow. Doing so could damage the bow.
NEVER retrieve arrows or allow anyone else to do so until all arrows have been shot.
We now have a range of crossbows in diferent sizes to suit both adults and younger children along with arrows, finger tabs, arm guards and string release products as well as shooting targets.
There is a very simple exercise you can do to determine what size of bow you need. If you are quite small and order a large bow then this bow will not be suitable for you. Vice Versa if you order a small bow and you are quite tall then again this bow will not be suitable. The Bow Length is basically the length of arrow in this exercise to find correct bow length for you.
You will need somebody to help you with a measuring tape sizes measured are according to inches.
Simple Exercise to Determine Bow Size required
• Fully stretch both your arms out in front of you so that your palms are together and your fingertips are also extended.
• Ask your friend to measure from the centre of your chest region to the end of your fingertips. Note down this measurement in inches and then add another inch also this gives you a rough estimate of the approx arrow length required.
